Hey There

I'm Tove (pronounced Tovah for non-Scandinavian speakers) and I've been doing therapuetic bodywork for well over 30 years now. I started early learning from my mum. She used to tell me that my fingers had eyes of their own. I work intently, deeply (as needed), and thoroughly with the fascia of your body to remind you of who you are under your skin.
A bit about me
I trained at the Institute of Psycho-Structural Bodywork in California. I've had many mentors in my career. The bodywork modalities that inform my current practice are sports massage, Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT), orthopaedic massage, Active Release Techniques (ART®), and Structural Integration.

I have two academic degrees in psychology. An interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts degree from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco where I combined the study of contemplative and developmental psychology. I also have a Graduate Diploma in psychology from Massey University.

In 1993 I began traveling the world as a soigneur with professional cycling teams. For thirteen years I managed logistics and did massage, physiotherapy and first aid with world champions, national champions and Olympic medallists in road and mountain biking.

I am an ordained Zen student and a long-time yogini. In San Francisco I trained for many years with a senior Iyengar yoga teacher, adding to my knowledge of structural and functional anatomy. I've guided and taught meditation practices at Zen monasteries and in retreat settings. I trained as an Integrative Restoration (iRest) facilitator with Richard Miller.

I treat your body and mind as one.
On any day you will find me out walking my Blue Dog in the Redwood Forest, swimming laps in an outdoor pool, or riding my bike here in Rotovegas.

How can I help you? Get in touch.
